If you are interested in surrendering a horse to The Kentucky Equine Humane Center, you need to call the Executive Director at 859-881-5849 to discuss your situation. We always have a waiting list.
Every horse that comes to the Center needs to have a current negative Coggins certificate, as well as a surrender form which will be provided to you if plans have been made to accept your horse. If necessary, we make every attempt to offer alternatives appropriate for you and your horse.
